Tales of the Midwives

  • Lynchburg Museum 901 Court St Lynchburg, VA, 24504 United States (map)

Spend your Sunday afternoon immersed in the world and work of the midwife. Six midwives and a doula, ranging in experience from rookies to retirees, will share stories of laughter, shock, heartache, and joy as they reminisce about their service to women and families. You won't want to miss this singular event, another in a series of public programs inspired by the year-long exhibit "Women With Women: a History of Midwifery in Lynchburg and Central Virginia."

This event is both in person and virtual, and can be streamed on the Lynchburg Museum Facebook page.
