In recognition of the 50th running of the Virginia 10 Miler, the Lynchburg Museum System is pleased to present a First Fridays exhibit celebrating the history of Lynchburg’s most enduring and beloved foot race. The exhibit will feature artifacts from the race’s 50-year history and highlight the organizers, runners, and community members who have made the event a lasting success since 1974. We hope you will join us for an opening reception on Friday, August 2, 5-7 PM. The reception is free and open to the public.
