Hours of Operation
The Museum & Visitor Center is open five days a week, including weekends, so you can plan your visit with ease.
- Monday & Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon – 3:00 p.m.
We are closed on major holidays, including New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Admission
Admission to the Lynchburg Museum is always FREE for all visitors.
Groups
We’d love to assist in coordinating a time for your group of 10 or more to tour the Lynchburg Museum at the Old Court House. Please arrange your tour with museum staff in advance by calling 434-455-6226 or emailing museum@lynchburgva.gov.

Parking: Free parking is available behind the Museum on Court Street and in nearby public lots. Accessible parking and an entrance ramp are located at the rear of the building.
